Proper Skin Care in Winter
When winter comes, the skin loses its dryness. It loses its natural moisture and becomes dry. During this time, skin care requires complete moisture. If your skin tends to dry out easily, it’s a good idea to apply moisturizer at regular intervals. But you also need to know your skin type and care for it accordingly.
For oily skin:
Oily skin tends to get greasy easily. If it gets excessively oily or greasy, it is necessary to use a cleanser and toner twice a day. Use a cream suitable for oily skin on your hands, feet and face. You can massage facial oil into your face twice a day. After cleansing and toning, you can apply a mixture of lettuce leaf juice, honey, and lemon juice. Wash it off after fifteen minutes. Also, mix honey with pineapple, apple, and papaya to make a pack and use it.
For dry skin:
If your skin becomes dry, it is best to apply moisturizer. Use lip balm. Apply moisturizing lotion to your hands and feet. Use oil-free products for moisturizing. You can mix half a spoon of vitamin E oil and half a spoon of glycerin and apply it daily. To nourish the skin, mix egg yolk, one spoon of honey, Mix half a teaspoon of olive oil and rose water and apply it all over your face, leave it for fifteen minutes and wash it off. Try this pack twice a week.
For combination skin:
Combination skin requires proper care. Cleanse the skin twice a day and use toner. Be sure to use moisturizer after cleansing every day. Then apply a cream suitable for the skin. If necessary, moisturizer can be applied up to three times a day. Boil sweet pumpkin and mix it with a sufficient amount of milk and honey and apply it on the skin of the face. You can try this pack three days a week. Taking a bath every day in winter keeps your body and mind healthy and free from dust. You can use a moisturizing lotion or cream after bathing and before going to bed at night. Cracked ankles are more common in this winter. Mixing glycerin with water or rose water before applying will restore smoothness to cracked heels. Manicure or pedicure can be done at home. Using petroleum jelly keeps your hands, feet, lips, and skin smooth. Along with that, you should always stay mentally healthy.
Some extra precautions:
Choose a good quality moisturizer for winter skin care. Buy moisturizers rich in almond oil or avocado. Use a moisturizer or lotion after your daily shower and every time you wash your face while it’s still wet. This will help keep your skin hydrated.
