Hand and Foot Care
Your hardworking hands never stop. You work at the same pace both at home and outside. Sometimes with a mouse, sometimes with a keyboard, sometimes with a printer. Sometimes I organize office files, sometimes I prepare food by chopping vegetables or stirring spices in the kitchen.
On the other hand, going to and from the office, going to the court, walking to the shopping mall, and moving from room to room at home, I wear a pair of suits. Cracked and uneven skin on your hands or feet can be a source of discomfort. Even a little time spent regularly on hand and foot care can keep your hands and feet healthy and beautiful. But it’s not just the physical beauty of your hands and feet that requires care. Massaging specific areas of the hands and feet will also reduce fatigue and stress.
A little time before bed:
Soak your feet in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes before bed. The fatigue of the whole day will go away to a great extent. The fatigue of the whole day will be greatly removed. You can also mix lemon and glycerin in water and clean your hands thoroughly. This will keep the skin of your hands clean and soft. If the skin on your hands and feet is cracked, soak the cracked area in this mixture for 15 minutes. Then apply the oil and go to sleep. Wash off the oil while taking a bath in the morning.
If your hands smell bad and have stains:
After washing fish, the smell of raw fish may remain on your hands. In this case, mix lemon and salt in water and soak your hands for a while. Turmeric or other spices can also cause stains on your hands. Moreover, you can also clean the stained area by mixing lemon with honey.
To keep the skin of hands and feet clean:
Make a paste by mixing gram flour, oil, and a small amount of rice powder with water and apply it on the skin of your hands and feet. After 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with water. Scrubbing like this once or twice a month will keep your skin clean and soft and the skin will have fewer wrinkles. You can also use a scrubber made of pumice stone or clay to clean your heels every day. Additionally, if the skin is dry, you can also wash your hands and feet with milk.
Nail care:
You should never keep your nails too long. Long nails can trap dirt. Also, long nails can break and cause sudden injuries. You can clean your nails with a brush every ten to fifteen days. However, if the inside of the nail becomes dirty while working, you should clean it again with a brush before ten days have passed.
Be careful:
Do not apply washing powder directly to your hands. Never touch washing powder or bar soap directly to your hands, whether they are dry or wet. If you get washing powder on your hands while working, you should immediately clean your hands with clean water. Always use gloves when working with high-quality watches, soap, or any other chemical-rich material. Wear full-sleeved clothing and shoes that cover your feet well when you go outside. Avoid using too many chemical-rich lotions, creams, or other products. Use natural ingredients. Manicures and pedicures should be done every seven to ten days. Exactly how often it’s good for you to get a manicure and pedicure depends on the type of work you do.
