Olive Oil in Beauty

A Greek poet compared olive oil to liquid gold. Olive oil is full of great nutritional benefits, from beauty to health care and cooking. Olive oil easily penetrates deep into the skin and maintains moisture.

Due to its cleansing effect, dirt can never accumulate on the skin. The ingredients present in olive oil keep the body healthy and beautiful. Olive oil can be used as a moisturizer not only in winter but all year round.

To remove dead skin cells:

In winter, the skin becomes dry and dead cells accumulate on the skin. Dead cells make the skin dull. Use olive oil mixed with salt as a scrub at least three days a week. The dead skin cells will be removed and the skin will glow.

To keep skin soft and supple:

In winter, those with dry skin should apply a mixture of one teaspoon of olive oil, one egg yolk, and one teaspoon of gram flour three days a week. Wash off after fifteen minutes. The skin will become brighter, dryness and wrinkles will disappear.

Those with oily skin should apply one teaspoon of basil and mint leaf paste, one teaspoon of gram flour once a week, Mix half a teaspoon of green tea paste with half a teaspoon of olive oil and use it. It will remove dirt and grime from deep within oily skin and make your skin glow. Those with normal skin should mix half a cup of olive oil with a quarter cup of glycerin and half a teaspoon of camphor and apply it to their face. Wash it off when it dries. The skin will be soft and vibrant.

To keep the skin smooth and tight:

Olive oil is very light compared to any other oil. That is why it blends easily with the skin. As a result, the skin remains smooth and firm for a long time.

To remove facial wrinkles:

Wrinkles appear on the face as we age. To remove wrinkles, regularly massage aloe vera gel mixed with olive oil onto the skin.

To remove makeup:

After returning home from the day or an event, apply olive oil to a cotton pad and remove makeup. This will help remove makeup from deep within the skin. Before going to bed at night, massage your hands and feet lightly with olive oil. This will remove the dark spots on your hands and feet and increase their radiance. Many people have problems with brittle nails and peeling skin around the nails. To get rid of this, massage olive oil on your fingernails and toenails regularly. Nails will become stronger.

Lip care: Those whose lips get very dry during winters should massage their lips with one drop of olive oil three times a day. The dryness and blackness of the lips will go away.
